INTERESTED IN WRITING A PANTOMIME?

The requirements for a Pantomime script are:

The script must be a work in two acts with provision for original songs and movement with a cast of characters of approximately 20-25. Of such characters, approximately half should be roles carrying the main theme of the plot. The others would be the supporting cast or chorus. The work must appeal to all ages and must be free of profanity or sexual references.

If you are interested you may submit a detailed outline of your script. Include notations on where songs would be inserted and the message and tone of the song. The outline will be assessed by the Script Team which is comprised of persons external to the LTM Management will assess the outline and it's possibilities for development to production.

The Little Theatre Movement, producers of the production, reserves the right to accept or reject the submitted material if it does not fulfill the requirements in terms of viability as a commercial production. The LTM also reserves the right to request changes and adaptation to the eventual script if so needed in order to fit together all the elements found in a pantomime - music, movement, set etc. This would be done in consultation with the writer and director.

We would recommend that you register the copyright for your material to avoid any misunderstanding in the event that your submission is not accepted.

Fees would be negotiated upon acceptance of the treatment along with terms and conditions for the way forward.
